Have you ever dreamed of singing on the stage at Carols? Here’s your chance! We’re inviting South Australia’s school choirs to apply for a spot in this year’s Pre-Show Concert at Elder Park on Saturday 13 December. Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of the magic – apply now!
Terms and Conditions – Please Read
- The choir must perform one of the following Christmas songs:
- Deck the Hall
- Hark the Herald Angels Sing
- Jingle Bells
- Silent Night
- The song can be performed: a) a cappella, b) with “live” musical accompaniment, c) using a backing track (instrumental only).
- The format for each recording must be video only, showing the choir performing
- Choir members (and the conductor if applicable) must be visible in the video
- The video must be in one take with no voice enhancements
- The choir must comprise of between 6 and 30 members and is open to Years 7 – 12 only
- The conductor must not sing with the choir
- The submissions will be judged by industry professionals and a short list published on Carols social media pages for the public to vote on the winner
- The judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the results
- By entering the competition, participating choirs agree to be bound by the rules and regulations of the competition
- Entries for consideration must be submitted no later than 5.00pm 7 November 2025. Entries after this date will not be accepted
- For security, all submitted videos will be deleted after the announcement of the winners.
