“Each year South Australians gather by the thousands in Elder Park to take part in one of our greatest community traditions: the annual Carols by Candlelight.
It’s a beloved celebration of the festive season that brings families and friends old and new together to sing along to classic Christmas favourites in the company of some of Australia’s most well-known entertainers, and thrill at the spectacular annual fireworks display.
Yet Carols by Candlelight is more than just a wonderful community event: it is also a major fundraiser for St John Ambulance SA. The money raised helps continue its crucial work in delivering health and medical services at events, first aid training, and social inclusion programs.
The South Australian government is a proud and ongoing supporter of Carols by Candlelight, and I look forward to sharing in this year’s celebration of spirit and song.”
