Hugh Sheridan
Born and bred in Adelaide, Hugh began training at the age of five at the Unley Youth Theatre. At 16 he trained at the Australian Ballet School in Melbourne, while also studying opera at the Victorian College of the Arts.
Upon leaving the Australian Ballet School, Hugh was accepted into the Bachelor of Dramatic Art course at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in Sydney at the age of 18. In his final year there he won the role of Ben Rafter in the pilot for “Packed to the Rafters”.
The series was a huge success and he won four Logie Awards, one for Most Popular New Male Talent and three for Most Popular Actor.
Hugh has released several singles and an album and formed a singing trio, The California Crooners Club, based in Los Angeles.
